Parisian Paradise

A few months ago, I met another amazing artist. She comes from Southern Cal, now living in the Willamette Valley painting an array of murals, but mostly childrens. Her and I had discussed several mural options for my daughters bedroom. With my busy and on the go life, I would forget to email her back with meeting times to get started on the project. I was amazed at her consistent effort to help me get the room of my daughters dreams. Finally, we got together and decided to make a go of her Plain Jane room....

She took on the Parisian design that I requested, whimsical none the less and ran with it. Might I add, that this project was completely new to her? She is a free style artist and had never done whimsical before. Up for the challenge, she jumped right in! I am in awe....Seriously, I stand in her room amazed. There are no words for the this talent that Susan brings into your home. 

The Picture of this girl in the phone booth was a last minute challenge that Susan (and her helpful husband) took on gracefully. Isn't she stunning? She even made her look like what Rowyn may look like down the road, hehe. And she even suprised me with the poodle which I adore!!!

Rowyn, Paris....Does it get any cuter than that? The window treatments I had purchased prior to painting. Susan did a fabulous job tying in all of the decor I had gotten for the room into her painting. Placing all of the pieces of the mural to mesh with our needs with furniture arrangements along with Rowyns needs as a growing little girl.

Notice the cake on the back of her bedroom door? Susan took a photo of our wedding cake and painted it into the design!!! Just another wonderful and special touch that she added to the room. And then, "Nana's Patisserie", she gave me an idea to name that after Rowyns Nana, and the address is her birthay. Every store has it's own special story.






Only in a perfect world would a job this large run completely smoothly. We did run into a couple bumps a long the way, but I can not believe the amazing service that Susan and her husband, Scott provide. It is easy to see that they love what they do and take pride in making sure that you are 100% and beyond satisfied with your art. And on top of the service the rates are unbelievable! Susan explained while painting, "I want everyone to be able to afford a beautiful mural". And she does just that. Now everyone can give their child an amazing room or playroom. At only $325+ per day, why wouldn't you do this? My jaw still drops when I think about what this amazing woman can do in a day and she charges such a fair price so that she can provide everyone with beautiful artwork!
